Since the year 2000, Fernanda Morello and Patricia Vila perform an extensive repertoire of piano music for four hands and two pianos.

This remarkable duo ranks among the most accomplished chamber ensembles in Argentina and Latin America.

It has been distinguished with the Carlos Gardel 2006 Music Award - Argentina's most prestigious music award - in the Best Classical Music Album category, for the album 'The Complete Music of Debussy and Shostakovich for two pianos'.

Through this recording, registered for EMI CLASSICS label, Ms. Morello and Ms. Vila became the first Argentine artists with a fully local production ever issued by the British label.

'Four Hands', their 2001 debut album with music of Debussy, Bizet and Ravel, was the best selling classical music album in May and June 2002, praised both by critics and the press.

Ms. Morello and Ms. Vila have performed in the most critically acclaimed chamber and orchestral music cycles in Argentina.

The duo is committed to the promotion of the Argentinean music repertoire, having performed a variety of compositions for their first hearings.
